This segment from the 2013 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Henry Futch, an eighth grade student at Cedar Creek School in Ruston. As a child, Futch survived Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. He is an excellent student, a member of the baseball, football, and track teams, a tutor to younger students, and a piano player. Futch is also a tireless fundraiser for the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and other cancer support organizations.
