This segment from the 2015 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Angel Guidry, a senior at Elton High School. Guidry was born to a drug-addicted mother, causing her to have an unstable childhood. After she was adopted by the Richer family, she jumped three grade levels in a year and now maintains a 3.7 grade point average.
