Description
This segment from the 2015 Young Heroes Award Ceremony features a profile of honoree Sean Noel, a seventh grade student at Mandeville Junior High School. Despite being diagnosed with Hemophilia A at the age of two, Noel has become a tireless volunteer and philanthropist. His activities include: raising money for the Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation through “Sean’s Factor”; speaking to medical students about his experience of living with hemophilia; starting “St. Tammany Remembers,” a website that lists local veterans; sending care packages to the troops; and collecting and distributing blankets through “Warm Hearts,” a program he started with his sister. Hosts: Shauna Sanford and Beth Courtney
