Description
Oral history with state representative, lieutenant governor, state auditor, and state education superintendent William Joseph "Bill" Dodd (November 25, 1909 – November 16, 1991). Conducted in the late 80s/early 90s. In this interview, Dodd discusses his life in Louisiana politics under Earl Long, the Long family overall, and how the Louisiana political scene has changed over the years. He also briefly discusses his book "Peapatch Politics: The Earl Long Era in Louisiana Politics" (1991).
