Oral History with Banking Commissioner Fred Dent, conducted on December 8, 1992. In this interview, Dent discusses the Freedom and Merci Trains from World War II, celebration his father put together for the founder of the Freedom Trains Drew Pearson, his memories of visiting the Old State Capitol during his youth, and when he started in Louisiana politics.
