Oral history with 15th Air Force, P-38 Lockheed Lightning fighter pilot veteran Revis Sirmon. In this interview, Sirmon continues telling his story of his service in the U.S. Air Force during the Second World War. He talks about the successes that the 15th Air Force saw when bombing railroads and rail stations across Western Europe. He also talks about how the war affected him and his fellow servicemen of the "greatest generation." Sirmon served in the 15th Air Force as a P-38 fighter pilot and flew missions over Italy, the Balkans, Austria, and Germany. Part 2 of 2.
