Description
Oral history with District 34 State Representative Elcie Guillory. Conducted on June 18, 2007. In this interview, Guillory continues discussing his career as a representative, including some important bills he helped pass in the Louisiana House. He also talks about his District, how it has improved since he took office, and some of the problems they still face. He also gives advice to the new wave legislators coming into the House and Senate in 2008. Guillory served as a representative of District 34 for fifteen years. This interview is part of a series of interviews conducted with numerous Louisiana legislators being term limited following the 2007 legislative session. Part 2 of 3.
