Oral history with District 204 State Representative and Speaker of the House Joe Salter. Conducted on July 24, 2007. In this conclusion, Salter discusses his thoughts on term limits in the Louisiana House and Senate and the effects they have on Louisiana politicians, his time as Speaker of the House, and some events from his time in office. He also reflects on the sacrifice Louisiana legislators go through when taking a public office and how the media affects Louisiana politics.
