Oral history with District 70 state representative Carl Crain. Conducted on August 6, 2007. In this interview, Crain discusses his early life, his early career as a criminal justice professor and prison warden, his start in Louisiana politics, the issues of his district, and why he changed political parties after joining the House. Crain served in the Louisiana House of Representatives for twenty-six years.
