Interview with a TTa representative about inaugural services beginning April 24 with 16 flights a day to Lafayette. He announces that 7 of the flights will be with the new Convair 600 jet airplane, a first in aviation history for Lafayette as it will be the first time jetpowered service will be provided at the airport. He also announces that two of the flights will be non-stop to Houston, 6 will be non-stop to New Orleans, and 2 will be one-stop flights to Dallas. He states that the new DC-9 Fan Jet will receive its first run by late Fall.
