A Legacy of Elegance, A WWL-TV Special Project narrated by Phil Johnson, explores several grand houses in the French Quarter, including: Casa Quinones on Bourbon Street, built by Don Estevan de Quinones and owned by Lindy Boggs; a house bought by Michel Musson, uncle of Edgar Degas, for his daughter who married Degas' cousin; The Thomas House on Chartres Street, restored by Lawrence Thomas and formerly owned by Joseph Sauvinet, lawyer of Jean Lafitte; the Forstall House on St. Louise Street, home of Edmond and Daphne Forstall; and the Gallier House on Royal Street, built by architect James Gallier, Jr.
