Description
Interview with Mayor Woody Dumas on a tax free bond bill. He states that the bill is bad for Baton Rouge. He says that he met with members of the committee and that he thinks they will kill the bill. He believes that if Congress passes the bill, there will not be any new construction in Baton Rouge because the city is already in bad shape. Dumas is encouraged that Senator Long thinks that the bill will not pass. Dumas states that Baton Rouge passed a $53 million bond this year, but if the tax free bond is eliminated, then the city will have to raise more money.
