Ron Hunter interview with Adjutant General Erbon Wise about sending troops to Baton Rouge during the Bogalusa Civil Rights March. General Wise states that Governor McKeithen ordered him to call up 600 Louisiana National Guardsmen to go into the Baton Rouge area. He states that the troops are from the 1st and 2nd Battalion, 156th Infantry, and would be commanded by Colonel Robert Leblanc of Abbeville.
