Silent footage in the legislature followed by a speech by J. Bennet Johnston on the cost of the Superdome bill. Johnston says that if they allow the bill to go through they are breaking faith with the people. He says that the stadium may be a good deal for the state, but that's not what they told the people. Johnston states that one of the primary things one must do in politics, and the one thing the people expect, is to keep faith with constituents. He says they may be doing it in a real nice and sweet way, by selling them a bill of goods on ads, and by putting little trick phrases like "Faith in Credit" in the bill, but he says that if he lets this bill go through his constituents are going to be saying they they were told an untruth, an inaccuracy. Johnston states that all he could then say is, "I'm sorry. I thought I read the bill. I thought I knew what it meant."
