This program from January 6, 1991, focuses on the role of parish governments, or police juries, in Louisiana in the areas of economic development, transportation, health care and social services, recreation, public safety, and solid waste management. Comeaux, Jr., Lafayette Parish; David M. Fields, Bienville Parish; L.B. Henry, Rapides Parish; Dr. Ray Authement, president of the University of Southwestern Louisiana; Tom Ed McHugh, East Baton Rouge Parish; Allen P.
