In this episode from the “New England Cuisine” series of “Savor the Regions” from July 24, 1999, Nutritional Chef Kelly Patrick prepares dishes for family dinners. Chef Patrick puts a healthy twist on these crowd-pleasing favorites. She first prepares Yankee Pot Roast. Next, she tours the beautiful grounds of the Top Notch Hotel and Resort in Stowe, Vermont. Back in the kitchen, Chef Patrick prepares a New England Seafood Pie. Finally, Chef Patrick speaks with Suzanne Vieira, a dietician for Johnson and Wales University Culinary School. They discuss how health and dietetics is an important part of the culinary curriculum at the school. This program was preserved through a 2022-2023 Public Broadcasting Preservation Fellowship.
