He interviews: Reverend Spiller Milton, a Methodist minister in Oakdale; Joe Shine, a teacher in Shreveport; Bill Carrier, a school principal in Baton Rouge; Dr. Rahn Sherman, an assistant secretary with the Louisiana Department of Health and Human Resources; Roland Mena, an in-patient counselor; Paul Kopacz, counselor at Odyssey House; Patti Malone, counselor at Odyssey House; John McKinnie, parent; Pete Bunce, director of MAD; Bill Noonan, ADAPP director; Bunny Purvis, ADAPP advisor; Leonard Knapp, district attorney in Calcasieu Parish; Beth Watkins, AWARE advisor; Colleen Jones, school nurse; and Bill Nadler, businessman. Kathryn Breazeale then discusses other models for adolescent alcohol and drug abuse programs around the state. Lastly, Beth Courtney leads a panel discussion with: Donald Berg, adolescent drug and alcohol abuse counselor; Dr. Louis Cataldi, medical director of Silkworth in Baton Rouge; Sandra, parent of chemically dependent children; and Joseph Cotton, the statewide coordinator of the Louisiana Department of Education’s Substance Abuse Prevention and Education Program. They answer questions called in by viewers.
