Description

Interview with Sixty Rayburn on a report from hearings on taxation committee. Rayburn states that he's still reviewing all matters pertaining to revenue, finance, and taxation in the present constitution. He describes his original amendment which prohibited people who earn $10,000 or less from paying state income tax. He states that although it was adopted with only 3 votes against it, the amendment was eventually defeated. He is hopeful that part of it will be saved in the amendment by Representative Alario which prohibits anyone earning $10,000 or less from being taxed on over 2% of their income.
